I don't buy the "Remd.... is already approved" theory as to cozying up to Gilead. They will still want the lion's share of revenues IMO.

Sure, Brilacidin isn't approved now, but when trials do start (and some say this could be as early as the week of the 16th) it will pan out very, very, very quickly should it be as effective as most of us believe it will.

We will have interim by early Dec, final data sometime in Jan, but far earlier it will be pushed up to a P3 and approved as an EUA treatment before the final data report comes out in late Jan/Feb.

So why push for a partnership now with a drug that is not pulling almost any weight, has serious safety issues, and is expensive?

I would be all for delaying any sort of partnering until at least late Feb/early Mar.

I also believe we get very large orders from various world governments prior to Feb.
