Probably not the best comparison. These different tests have different, specific capabilities.

Unfortunately, I am remote at the moment and running out of battery power so I can't provide a link, but I seem to recall this "symptom" characterization was sourced from the Innova test literature.

I agree it is funny because the Innova test has been grossly misrepresented in these pages by the marketing consultants who don't bother with the FACTS.

The INNOVA Antigen test is NOT approved for saliva - only swabs, NOT reliable on asymptomatic individuals, and NOT intended to be read by individuals but rather must be read by trained lab staff.

It may take 15 minutes to provide a result, but it's not a true 15 minute test because "the “rapid turnaround” coronavirus tests the prime minister announced on Saturday are not approved for the public to interpret themselves without an expert’s help and so will not provide results in the promised 15 minutes"

As such,

But the Innova tests are not for people without symptoms, such as university students or people wanting to get on a plane or go to the theatre. They are designed for people who already have Covid symptoms. And the devices, which look like a pregnancy test, are intended to be read by a healthcare professional.

Quoting promotional/marketing material doesn't change the FACTS.
