Intel has plenty of slides out with it.
(Better don't look it up. It might disturb you. :) )

Since you're the one claiming Intel has publicly stated that wafer ramp exceeds unit ramp (at least that what I think you're claiming) for Core 2, it's up to you to provide the evidence.

Klaus

I don't believe Intel has said this.

Not surprising. Anyway, Intel has plenty of slides out with it.

What is not surprising is that you are confused on this issue.

Here's what you said:

So just compare product transition to Core2 to historical pattern. If it is not faster than historical, but wafer ramp is faster, think about why that is. :)

You are saying that the the wafer ramp is faster than the product ramp. I said I doubt that Intel has said that. You have a link?

allow me to summarize your series of posts:

You said c2d costs more.

They say prove it

You say, "That is what Intel said"

They say, I don't think Intel has said this

You say, THAT is because Intel speaks out of both sides of its mouth.

THIS IS NUTS.

It is reminisident of of the lines of Bob's, _Ballad of a Thin Man_

You raise up your head
And you ask, "Is this where it is?"
And somebody points to you and says
"It's his"
And you says, "What's mine?"
And somebody else says, "Where what is ?"

And we say, "Oh my God
Must I post all alone?" ...
