I chart the futures, then buy/sell the ETF's. Personel preference.

I see crude oil as currently range-bound between ~$37.5 and ~$45. Draw your own lines though. The first two yellow ovals are recent past. I am watching/expecting the third (dashed line) to be a repeat.
