How do you know it was Spider Silk? They probably just went down to Jo-Ann's fabric and bought a bolt of silk for the event. Did you see any lab test.
That bothers me. The scientist that are splicing genes, and not testing their product. Does that strike anyone else weird?
Most Scientists I know Phizer, DARPA, and Glaxo; Are into test and verification to prove their work. It's a point of pride, like a peer-review article. Validation!
Seems to me that Validation is something that KBLB is trying to avoid.
