I called Scottrade and they said that you (I) should only be able to run one instamce of Elite period and that I have apparently been slipping through some "cracks" and to be careful because my numbers could get delayed and such.
I have always noticed a tiny lag anyway against the browser based Scottrader, even if I only have 1 instance running. The opposite should be true.
Now, If I do the right sequence I am able to get the laptop on which has trade ideas on it split with the dow 30 (I will change this to a 2nd trade ideas running different scans) and then fire up 3 more elites on my 2nd computer. When I get the 4th elite signed on, it kicks off the laptop, but Trade ideas continues to run, since it is its own thing I think.
Then I just run Scottrader on my 3rd computer.
I have a 4th computer which used to be just devoted to watching the $vix and $vxn, but that power supply went out.
I am thinking about starting a account with Options Express, so maybe I can use one of the 3 screens on the one computer to run that account when I have it up and going.
