This report just shoes the %age of volume that was short for the day

1). It does not say whether those shorts have covered at the EOD or not - correct?



2) It cannot be the open short # of shares that are still open at the EOD as it adds up to more than 100% in just 3 -4 days

3). It does not show what is the total volume of outstanding shares that are still short I believe


Why is this board obsessed with is report given that we do not know whether the short for that day was even covered at the end of the day or not

Please educate me as it's a honest qn
