Yes, for those starting out in this stuff I agree with you 100%. Then once you learn the game a bit more, $1K buy in's are really good. IF a trader can comfortably afford the RISK!! I always tell people never to buy more than you can afford to LOSE entirely. That said, once you learn how to play, you win more often than you lose. At least that's my experience.
