I thought that even before FCEL announced this year that FCEL will be added to a Russell index that FCEL was already part a Russell index, one that included micro cap companies. When I went to Russell's website I noticed that it showed FCEL was in their micro cap index in 2019. In looking at their website it looked like Russell discontinued having an index named after micro caps and now has one named Russell 3000 instead of it, as well as having a Russell 2000. The Russell 3000 includes the micro caps and the Russell 2000 stocks (mid caps) and the Russell 1000 stocks (large caps). It appears to me that being added to the Russell 3000 and/or Russell 2000 is largely only a name change from a former Russell index.
If there was a time since 2017 when FCEL had been removed from an index and also was not in any index please provide me with the details (especially an internet link), including the date of the removal.
