Agreed, and in the case of someone working with others it may simply be good business if the customer is afraid of COVID.
I had a service person come to my home recently, he donned a mask as he was coming up the driveway, I said "don't wear one on my account" and he put it in his pocket.
It should be a matter of personal choice, not government mandate. Japan traditionally uses masks but it is a social convention and not a government mandate.
