You have 15 minutes to edit a post. Go to the message and top right you'll see a link to Edit. Click on that.

If the edit window has passed and you'd like the post removed, you can click on the link at the bottom of the post that says "Report TOS Violation" and in the comments say "Author Request:.

You can only edit it via the website (not the mobile app) and then only within 15 minutes.
