Come now Scooter. The FDA is playing games that favor certain BP. If they were doing what they were supposed to do there would not be so many liability lawsuits. WE also now see a physicians organization suing the FDA. The history is full of bad actors running the FDA. The revolving door between BP and the FDA is not disputed.

Agreed but FDA sees all the data & should facilitate getting life saving drugs through during a pandemic. These are not ordinary times. The CEO should not matter & the fda should be charged with finding a cure & not making this process more painstaking.

Scooter - I worked in government for far too long. I can assure you corruption is rampant, even in the FDA. Look no further than the members of the COVID task Force, BARDA, NIAID and the hundreds of FDA folks who matriculate directly to Big Pharma whose drugs they helped to approve. It is astonishing to me the faith the public has in people within government agencies. My litmus test when working with them - the longer they had been there, the less I trusted them, and with good reason..
