#2951 RE: worktoplay #2948

As a matter of fact, although it is outside the norm for most people....I did not give gifts at Christmas....we have not done that for many years, in my family, and circle of friends....we focus on creating memories by doing things together as a family, rather than give each other 'things'....besides, I have way more than I need....so instead of giving gifts to those of us that have enough, I donated money and time to the Salvation Army, the Homeless Shelter, the Christmas party for the kids who were nominated by their schools, I bought toys and clothing all year long to take to the church for distribution at this time of year to needy families....and gave money to people who came to my door and asked for it......but I never gave anyone a gift who could have gotten it for themselves if they wanted it.

I am not throwing this 'back at you', and it is not my intention to belittle you or anyone...I just find it kinda 'crowded' when one has so much that there is very little room to 'be different' and grow, now and then.

I don't know about the gifts but Ron does go to church every Sunday. Trust me on that one.
