Another problem I see coming . Many of us are thinking or hoping the trial will be stopped and EUA given to us and unless we have only 10 or so deaths on the Leronlimab side I believe they will want us to finish the trial. Yes that seems unfair and wrong for the people that need it and I hope I’m wrong but they are going to make us finish the trial. Thats good news or it should be but not in our case because of how long this is taking and everyone’s expectations of the drug.

They have to check only one key parameter - no of deaths in each group.
If the difference is not statistically significant - they can only say that no safety issues - continue the trials.
If the no of deaths are significantly lower in case of Lero - they will have to do deep dive on data to confirm that the numbers really valid, quality of the data is good and then make recommendation such as submit to FDA for stoppage of trial.
I think that we can get the results by Tuesday as well as the data read is small and simple.
