Please correct me if I am wrong, but it seems that the severe Covid population is driven by endothelial activation, chemotaxis of macrophages to sites of infection and growing inflammation, and then a pervasive inflammatory feedback loop and immune dysregulation.

I am trying to confirm my understanding, and this seems consistent with what you have written and related from Dr Kishimoto.

Even the basics are hard for us who are not MDs and PhDs to keep straight.
