You should be able to export but probally wont carry the formulas

To copy the spreadsheet: At the top of the click on "FILE". In the drop down menu click on "Download". that will pop up another dialog box for you to select which version you want. Click on Microsoft Excel (xlxs).On the next popup select either open with or save file then click on the OK button. This will bring with it all the calculations.

I just did a test on Downloading to EXCEL you can and it will even import the functions and formulas

In the Google Sheet you should be able to see the File Dropdown menu and there is an option in there to DOWNLoad.
