how does a stock here in the us can rise 0 on 2.5 million volume, when there are hardly any sells.

I've been checking it out since SOMA opened and I don't understand how there is a bid and ask that jump around each day and yet day after day there is no trade.

In any case, the listed PPS of the stock is based on the median between the bid and ask (ex., .03 bid X .05 ask, value is .04), so the value moves around each day despite the lack of trading because the bid and ask move around.
