I think a problem with the bitcoin mining is it got very competitive with all the increase in hash rate or difficulty. And the companies that keep upping the miners. It's like Asic miner 20 is out now. 2 months later Asic miner 21 is out. Now you gotta go buy Asic miner 21 to stay in the game. A year later Asic miner 20 is not even worth plugging in.
