#40348 RE: OJSIMPSON2017 #40346

I am guessing maybe the cost per ounce production costs are gonna go up "just a little" when they have to completely unload the leach pad to get at the layer of salty gold?

On the other hand, by using PT's "innovative" math techniques - maybe it'll go down. Down to just a hundred bucks an ounce! Almost free!

By the way, where are they going to stack the cyanide contaminated tailings from the ball mill - back on the leach pad? Or into the nearest wash? And the contaminated water from the ball mill circuit? Does their environmental permit account for these changes in the process?

This whole story is insultingly stupid. Everything was fine, leach solutions were returning increasing concentrations, not a hint of trouble.....until now that a new toxic note begins to hit.

So, one thing can be counted on. With poor gold recovery due to MarMar's sabotage and expenses piling up, you can bet that PT has taken out a slew of new toxic notes in the last couple of months.
