I won't give safe/unsafe advice for particular crypto exchanges, but I will suggest you research that for yourself... especially if you end up with a sizeable stake and are HODLing it and not trading it often.

There have been some notable crypto exchange hacks in the past, so experts advise moving large hoards to digital wallets.

I have a Trezor One and a few Ledger crypto wallets. I love the Ledger Blue with the touchscreen, but I think it may no longer be available. Prolly a better Ledger model out now. They can be a few hundred bucks though.

Also, be care of fake websites that might trick you into transferring your crpyto to them. If you do, it is gone.
