"science is not static and what’s known today is different than what was known 6 months ago"
A lot of people don't seem to get this and those who relay the science to the public act as if what we know won't change. E.g. "Masks are only useful for healthcare workers" changing to "everyone needs to wear a mask".
The media/public officials act as if everything is settled and there are no unknowns and then when new info comes out no one trusts them anymore...wonder why.
By the time better data is available people have already taken sides and good luck changing their minds.
