Probably not going to happen anytime soon... Brilacidin is just showing to good of results thus far and becomes an obstacle to the flow of all that high-priced revenue starting to saturate Gilead's pocketbook!
It begs several questions - Is B as good as it is portrayed in the company’s press releases? If so, why hasn’t a deal been struck with big pharma as Leo is constantly leading us to believe that the company is in the process of having ongoing discussions with other parties? If it is truly a 99.85% CV killer, why doesn’t the world know about it and why is B not being proclaimed as a miracle drug by the experts? Why are we floundering at the penny level? Is the exuberance premature and should remain in check until human trials are concluded?
