It was indeed good to hear that the first Purchase Order and first funds have been scored in the UK. It souInds like Covid has played a role in the delay to get to this point. Hopefully they will be able to build up some momentum for orders in the UK. They indicated that installs/placements and training in the UK has been a bit cumbersome ... remote rather than in person. The pandemic has provided additional opportunities and urgency for PCTL, but also some challenges. NIce to hear they have been able to reel in their initial monetary success. Hopefully PCT Europe and their UK distributor will be able to make further strides in introducing the PCT technology to the various hospitals and care homes there and get additional PO’s signed in coming months.
(It was also an interesting tidbit to learn that the equipment is not being shipped by air, but rather by sea ... which obviously is less costly but also takes a bit longer).
EDIT: Now that PCT got its first order in the UK, I believe that other countries in Western Europe could be next (not Eastern Europe as you had posted).
