NP has recurrently stated interim results mid October. It may be sooner and NP may have learned to not give best case scenarios leading to disappointment when reality intrudes.
It seems that the analysis, especially with "simple" endpoints, would not take long. However, trial sites have to verify and format data, which is this collated and locked, before unblinding and analysis begin.
The level of rigor and the resultant methodical approach slow the process, which would, from a simple data analysis standpoint, otherwise be much quicker.
