Earlier, Arrizo posted the question, "I am wondering if the titles of the six books that are under the red shovel are any sort of clue?". For fun and curiosity, I blew up a still from the video and, with the assistance of Google Translate, was able to find the Portuguese titles of five of the six books Mark had placed under the red shovel. The titles were:
I Saw China
It's not in your head
Fauna and Flora in the Area of Vanadio de Maracas
Illustrated Guide to Cerrado Arboretum
Memories of a Niobium Seller
I can't with any confidence say that the titles or the language are clues as to the source of funding or anything else, but the book titles are at the very least interesting. I found that the titles being Portuguese as curious coming from an American's book collection. Mark has spent considerable time doing business in Brazil, so having those books lying around and grabbing them at random is a distinct possibility. Or maybe he was having some fun planting an Easter egg for current investors to find. We probably won't know until funding is finalized and announced. However still fun to ponder. It beats sitting around lamenting the fact that funding is taking so long.
