Yep - can't borrow anything if you're not margined,... Supposedly they cannot borrow out of ROTHs either from what I was told a few years back.

The Short attack that happened this week was a dismal failure. They are now in a worse position than when this week started. Sucks to be short paying 60% borrowing fees.

How can you help make things worse for the Shorts? That's simple.

First off, if your brokerage account is a CASH account, then there is NOTHING you need to do. Shorts CAN'T borrow shares from a CASH Account.

To be borrowed, your CVM shares have to be held in a Margin Account. It does not matter if margin is actually being used. Brokers will lend out your shares WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE!

If you don't need a Margin Account, then change it to cash.

Make them pay. Make them cover. Contact your broker and make sure your shares are held in a CASH account.
