Assuming all brokers comply it'll basically just be a delay in getting shares. It goes from custodianship grant to getting current. Simple change to my alerts

Looks like it might be a year or two before the new rule goes into effect.

The DD board doesn’t seem to happy. They seem to think custodians (or their shell companies) are going to have some kind of exemption.

The Final Rule is 297 pages of legalese, so kinda hard for me to really decipher.
