I was just reading this and was ready to paste it to ihub. They don't seem to like that there is a congressman on our team. But..the more publicicity the better. Politico has a lot of followers

..some heavy hitters involved.. but how can they avoid Javitt.. he's been around the block and mixed w/these people wearing many of the coats on all sides of this.. only thing that makes sense would be the excitement of how well it works and they all want to be apart of it..

Interesting,

Even looking at some of harris former tweets about, already approved FDA, medical miracles; etc.. I see some tweets of this nature

I also seemed to skim over stopping study; more than once in the article; which almost seems very specific/intentional action to discuss. just speculation :)

Wow. I was not expecting to read this tonight. Wow.

Maybe thats why there hasn't been a DMC update if they knew this article was coming. Might have wanted to let the dust settle.

Does this tarnish Aviptdil in any way? Maybe to some of the fringe voting elements looking for anything they can stir up. But to the FDA and ultimate destination of aviptadil I don't think it does.

Javitt said that an outside biostatistician is working with the committee, but is not a member of it. He also downplayed the panel’s role in the trial. “Unless there are unexpected severe adverse events to take action on, the committee doesn’t have much to do,” he said.

Supreme confidence indicated here in the outcome. If Javitt isn't worried about trial data, we shouldn't be either.

dabull Thx for linking this . Probably means the trial is unlikely to be stopped at this interim because Andy Harris ...if he voted to stop ...would be accused of bias as he's very pro Trump.

Assuming the trial continues ...they can hire more expert independent bio stat people to do a very detailed analysis of the results and remove any threat of bias.
My take is that its a -ve for this article to come out prior to a PR on the interim 2 look. Not saying it'll affect the PPS ....but we don't need any allegations that politics influenced anyones decisions .
