Absolutely. Elon tweeted an interesting response last night to an article trying to predict a possible tidbit for Batttery Day involving using iron as a battery component. Elon called out for miners to mine more nickel in the last earnings call and reiterates in his response that it all comes back to nickel:

No, but you make some great points. Important to note that iron’s cost advantage is partly offset by increased pack mass, so the fully considered cost is closer to nickel. That said, iron alleviates much of the scaling problem.

It's a dicey situation to be sure and just how it's all gonna play out is.....quite hard to say !




It's like - What if GIGA ISN'T in Teslas plans ???............THAT would just murder the share price although.........




I've personally been thinking all along that if TESLA doesn't want 'em (to sign a deal with 'em) then certainly SOMEONE will want to DO SO.






In which case it could take MONTHS (and months) to strike a deal, during which the sp could languish.
