the tec would supposedly cut the need for additional AC units from what I read in the past but not the actual power consumption of the miners themselves.

It would cut cooling costs but still gotta have power to run all those computers...

Your two biggest energy drains in a computer are gonna be the processor and cooling the processor. They've solved one of the problems.
