It is the reality, there is minimal retail shorting on the OTC, nothing that would drive any volume to influence the action, and putting GTC orders does nothing to prevent the so called retail shorting problem.
IF there is somehow a large portion of retail type shorting it would be naked short selling from overseas that would not be impacted by GTC orders.
But again, retail shorting is such a big topic yet no one ever knows a single person that ever actually shorts the stocks. Like every single stock on the OTC is full of short selling if you listen to people yet not one single person ever actually knows a single person who does
