We also need to keep in mind that Gunnison requires 25X the amount of acid than Florence. Quantities that work for Florence are a drop in the bucket for Gunnison.

Florence is a 1MLb/yr pilot plant. Gunnison’s Stage 1 operation is 25MLb/yr, which is 25 times larger.

Hopefully, Rio Tinto's Kennecott smelter will be up/running by end of October 2020. The smelter provides the sulfuric oxide gas to produce sulfuric acid (and it can supply, from what I understand, nearly one-half of US demand for sulfuric acid).
