Animal testing is used to demonstrate efficacy using a delivery method into a system that is much more similar to a human than a cell culture.

It's much cheaper to run a few animal tests rather than diving into clinical trials with only cell culture results.

This other molecule demonstrated that. I was pointing out that BIzzy's assumption may not be accurate since we had not done that yet and the two molecules are not related.
