TNF-alpha and IFN-gamma (both downregulated by CCR5 blockade) are responsible for upregulating the kinin B1 receptor which is where bradykinin binds. So bradykinin is CCR5 dependent.
Bradykinin theory has no correlation in clinical or preclinical studies. It was developed by computer simulation. The computer simulation has yet to be tested outside of the realm of computer developed hypothesis. The cytokine storm theory was developed by empirical evidence developed with real patients and real blood work. The axiom of computer modeling is "garbage in garbage out." The super computer hypothesis is worthy of testing in real life. It does not go further than that at the present time. I suspect it will be used to raise money in a Wall Street venture pump like so many early theories.
