Dmceng, it tells me Amazon may not be working directly with SPG and letting Simon drive while Bezos in back seat, rather maybe Amazon bids on their own for the entire JCP Enterprise.

If that is so, then they MUST submit a SUPERIOR bid and to me, that would need to be more money and include all debt and shareholders. This could be rose-colored glasses but still very realistic.

I will say I believe SPG needs the entire JCP Enterpise far worse than Amazon but do not forget Walmart, Target, Private Equity and others. So, I do not believe they let the JCP Enterprise be stolen for 1.75B while zeroing-out equity.
