You’re welcome, byloselhy, one of my nephews lives in San Jose, and he said that they have many cases of Covid-19 there too. In fact, he told my sister to postpone their visit this early Oct., because of the increasing number of cases. San Bernardino is around maybe 300 miles away..... so it gives us some perspective of how widespread it is in your state. We’ve been fortunate around where I live in Missouri, because everyone seems to be going about as normal with masks required before entering places of business. “Normal”, meaning that grocery stores, department stores, ect., are seeming to pick up where they left off before the shutdown. I’ve heard that movie cinemas are starting to reopen, but I wouldn’t know how their reopening business has been. Restaurants are now allowing dining in, dining out, and curbside pickup service for customers, but we are still doing pick up service. Sometimes while out and about, it would seem like everyone is going about their daily work just fine. Many are working from home now, but people are getting out to exercise at walking trails, or parks in the evenings and especially on weekends. Wish you the best .....you’ve got higher taxes to battle with out there, higher cost of living, higher real estate properties, but it is a LOVELY state to visit with the ideal weather in winter time! Highway 1...drive through Monterey Bay, Pebble Beach, is a dream drive. Love a different drive up to Hearst Castle, San Simeon with the inlaid gold around indoor pool area from the mighty Comstock Gold Mine, Meir Woods, to just name a few of my favorites there. Loved eating at A.J. Spurs in Selvane, Cal., a quaint Dutch established community. Plus used to love “ The Hungry Hunter” a dining establishment that has since closed in San Francisco. Anyway....nice conversation, and hope that you can visit Missouri sometime.
