No, that’s fake news. I’m just being realistic. Thinking that if the FDA requires us to do a Ticagrelor trial is part of a “we’re screwed” scenario is ludicrous. They require trials for the vast majority of indications, and the odds are enormous they’ll require one here. I would love for them not to have to do a trial, but it’s expected by most anyone who seriously follows these things. I’m very happy they got Breakthrough designation and hope they get this approved ASAP, as it has tremendous potential, including a buyout or partnership, in my opinion.
Panic, chronic and reflexive negativity and unrealistic expectations do not make for fruitful discussions and only serve to unnecessarily demoralize, though I wonder why anyone would want to do that.
