The LEVIATHAN multi-purpose salvage tool........modification.
The "Leviathan" multi-tool salvage system will finally be wet tested down to a depth of 4,000 meters this coming week. The system is designed to be capable of working in up to 6000 meters of water depth and is designed to handle up to a 20 ton lift. The system is capable of hosting a multitude of subsea geophysical sensors, such as 3d sub bottom profiling, high resolution scanning sonar, ferrous and non-ferrous metal detection systems, and high definition camera systems that relay data back to the vessel in real time via its fiber optic connections. We look forward to putting this tool to use in our shipwreck salvage activities.

The 6000 meter rated EXPL / Eclipse multi-purpose salvage and recovery tool, which we call "Leviathan", is being prepared for shipping to the Pacific coast today for wet testing down to >4000 meters. The tool's design will allow us to operate and control various hydraulically powered tooling, such as the pictured 1.5 cu meter peel grab, cutting instruments such as hydraulically operated shears, and other heavy duty sub-sea gear that we will use in deep water salvage and recovery projects. The current grab configuration will allow us to perform a 20 ton lift in up to 3000 meters of water! We are pleased to finally have this flexible tooling operational, and are really excited for the upcoming sea trials. Please continue to follow along for more updates.
Just a few last minute items needed. Notice the word wrecks is PLURAL.
Say Team, can you build me a basket to put the artifacts in that I want to collect from the ship wrecks we found in 5,000 ft of water....hook it to the remotely operated vehicle you already built that can operate in up to 22,000 ft of water and 9,000psi, the one where we send down 3000v of a/c power on a small fiber optic tether to control it all, and, also, give me a couple of robotic arms to pick up stuff and maybe some HD cameras and lights.....thanks!!! oh, and, I need it by next thursday!!
"only 5,000 ft this time, thats no problem boss..."
