Flamengo Esports is going to be present in the third modality in electronic sports. After consolidation in League of Legends and recent entry in Free Fire, Rubro-Negro will soon announce Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) teams, as the blog obtained exclusively.

Flamengo will be present in individual, co-op (3 vs 3) and x11. As in Free Fire, the model will be a partnership - this time with the Barones League. Players from the other two categories will be announced shortly. It is worth remembering that the Rubro-Negro electronic sport management model is currently licensed, currently led by the American company Simplicity Esports.

The first commitment of the new esports sector of Flamengo should be next September 26, in the x11 modality of the Brazilian Confederation of Digital and Virtual Football (CBFDV).

In mid-August, Konami, developer of PES, confirmed Flamengo as an official partner for the next edition of the football simulator. The new partnership with the current national and continental champion is the result of a relationship of several years, as an exclusive partner of the Japanese company. The contract runs until June 2023 and will yield R $ 6.5 million to the club's coffers.

The new agreement with Flamengo will include the strategic placement of the eFootball PES logo brand on official club training sets and interview backgrounds. The club will remain an exclusive video game club for the company, ensuring that supporters around the world have the most authentic and realistic representation of the champions of the Brazilian Serie A in the season update (PES 2021) of the eFootball PES 2021 and the eFootball PES Mobile.
