Currently Value Line shows the median yield for all their stocks that pay dividends to be 2.2%/Year.

That compares quite favorably to the 13 Week Treasury Coupon Rate of just 0.101%/Year.

In my sand box portfolio there are yields as high as 10% and an average of 4.2% for the 11 stocks in it. So, as far as dividends go, my Sand Box smells better than most Litter Boxes!

33% is better if it is in something that truly is stable when you need it.

I tried using HYZD for awhile but it went down and it is just sitting there 10 -15% below where I bought it. But the dividend is still good. Just not serving the purpose I bought it for.

I am trying to build cash before the next big drop. I may do a few sales tomorrow. PLUG, WPM, URTY

With my bond fund IGSB I am 30% "cash" now after doing my monthly trades.
