Yes, Remdesivir was also tested in Ebola , but FDA couldn't approve it.. It was not approved to treat any disease until EUA in COVID , when we know they needed to change primary endpoint , from mortality to length of hospitalization.

Leronlimab is also use without approval, yet with bigger success , in HIV , some cancers and our 65 eIND patients with covid.

Remdesivir is know to have many serious side effects , and with Leronlimab until now not even one serious side effect observed .

And yes , Remdesivir is an antiviral drug with no effect on viral load.

If I be FDA I be more worry to approve Remdesivir for anything , and by now I be very relaxed to approve Leronlimab...
