Sure they have had millions to lose. Tens of millions in fact. All that shareholder money over the years raised from selling new shares has been lost by poor business decisions and fat paychecks.
I also wouldn't call revealing negative DD bashing the stock. We normally have evidence other than just negative statements. We read the tea leaves here and trade accordingly. Perhaps we help accelerate the drop to the extent that these boards can, but it drops because of the fundamental truths.
Perhaps we have also damaged the ability to flip this as well thus shooting ourselves in the foot. None the less... This is a money game and hopefully in the future the company isn't the only one who can make money from here selling shares.
