Read the report from the Senate and look at all the people surrounding Trump who're either in jail or should be and tell me he's clean. Just listen to what his sister said on tape. Trump may not have directly spoken with Putin before the 2016 election, but it's clear that Manifort dealt with Russian officials while working for Trump.
The Republican Senators who refused to hear witnesses in a kangaroo court impeachment trial will ultimately regret their actions, the Republican Party will need to rebuild itself after the election. Congress needs to stop doing the work of the Party and start doing the work of the People.
The House did a recovery bill months ago, it may have required modifications, and they could have been accommodated, but the Senate wouldn't take it up and have now gone on recess.
In a decade or so they'll look at this period as one of the darkest in America's history. The Senate will largely be condemned for putting Party completely above country, and it's easy to substitute Trump for Party as that's who most Republican Senator's are loyal to.
