Do you remember the picture of a share price chart in Technical Analysis for Dummies which shows a jagged line of ascent as the share price of a stock with the comment:

“No share price goes up in a straight line”

I do. I’m not sure many remember that part of technical analysis. Even a book for dummies got that part spot on!
