Oh bullshit!!


You know how many times I've seen dead POS's that suddenly began seeing massive volume because "someone knows something" or "something big must be coming?"

And then NOTHING happened?

A lot.


I'll reiterate what I've said ad nauseam before on this site:

Volume is NOT always an indicator of anything, and volume does NOT always precede price.

I've seen 100 million+ share days where the price never budged.

And 200 shares sometimes moves a stock more than a million does.


Inexplicable high volume could be from a MM or P&D group who's been monitoring the boards and sees people getting excited about a stock, so they take a large position of .0001s and wait for the fish to start biting.
