Syrian-Ukrainian businessman Hares Youssef was arrested in Vienna on Feb. 23 at the request of the Spanish authorities for money laundering. His friend oligarch Dmytro Firtash was arrested in relation to the same case on Feb. 21. Both men deny the charges. Youssef has said he wants to face trial in Spain to clear his name.
