Let me provide some background as I think there is confusion by a lot of people on where the “quiet period” notion came from.
Someone on the RXMD telegram chat asked Armen around the middle of July if the company was still on schedule to file the S-1. Armen responded that per legal, the company cannot provide any more S-1 updates until it is filed. He then said, quote, “this is considered to be a quiet period for the company”.
Traditionally, a quiet period is usually associated with filing IPOs and the time between submitting the registration statement and the SEC approving it. I think Armen was alluding to more of an informal one in this case.
