Update a few hours ago...captain Tommy Searcy is actively responding to RLF-100

RLF-100 is still being tested and results have been outstanding! It sounds like the beloved Houston fire department Captain is responding well and his case goes in the same direction as everyone else who has been treated wit RLF-100, he should be back down to room air in a matter of days and discharged home soon!

Well the update on Facebook from last night shows the vent at 90% whereas it was at 60% in the morning so hard to understand the idea of improvement. Hoping it is just a blip and he improves and the vent percentage goes down later today.

Update: 8/20 (around 12PM)

X-rays seem to be about the same as earlier this morning. The vent is currently set at 90% and ECMO at 96%. Blood pressure and O2 levels remain steady.


..maybe they raised the % for overnight..?
