That one has promise also for the very critical patients. Works similar to leronlimab (RANTES) but a bit different. Can you imagine if L is effective and R is effective in critical? What a pair. I am watching that one, also.

Amateur17, Is this published? Pre-print? Submitted? Other? Please clarify when you have a chance. Thanks.

Radiologists don't describe anything as 'ground glass' when interpreting a chest x-ray (radiograph). Ground glass things are seen on CT scans, and reported according to the Fleischner Society: Glossary of Terms for Thoracic Imaging.

I'd be surprised if this paper has been peer reviewed and accepted for publication.

Amatuer , - RLF-100--Aviptadil..
I actually have a lot of respect to this drug..it is immunomodulator and antiviral...

It is IV but they trying now to use as a inhaler ..and this could go well with Leronlimab..imo

It is .... Vasoactive Intestinal Polypeptide --VIP...

Is blocking different inflammatory cytokines , including Rantes..
it inhibits TNF-alpha , IL-6 , IL-12 , and promotes anti-inflammatory IL-10.

then,

70% of the VIP in the body is bound to a rare cells in the lungs , the alveolar type 2 cells , which is critical for the transmission of oxygen in the body......those cells are know to have ACE2 receptors in a HIGH level...coronavirus is shown to replicate in those cells ...

It is use in severe cases and prevents progression of respiratory failure...

It is use in Asthma/allergy , pulmonary fibrosis , sarcoidosis , pulmonary hypertension..

I believe results will be good in this study ..

IMO only..
