Your argument is wrong. S&P dividend yield is 1.88 % where else you will get it.
Simple hedging technique can protect portfolio at the same time will give you 1.88%.
Nothing available any where. 10 Year treasury yielding 0.72% with lock of 10 years. Yes correction will come when it come.
